What SeeSomeone is, and is not

SeeSomeone is a directory. It helps you find mental-health professionals in Canada and contact them yourself.

SeeSomeone does not provide therapy, assessment, diagnosis, treatment or crisis services, and does not recommend one professional over another. Using this site does not create a clinical relationship with SeeSomeone or with Roaring Coast Inc. Any professional relationship is between you and the professional you contact.

SeeSomeone is a directory, not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are thinking about suicide or need crisis support in Canada, call or text 9-8-8.

Information in listings

Listings are built from public professional sources and from information professionals give us. We show where information came from, and we mark what we do not know as unknown rather than guessing.

We do not guarantee that a listing is complete, current or free of error. Registration status, credentials and availability should be confirmed with the professional and, where it matters to you, with the relevant regulator.

Professional accounts and listings

A professional who claims a listing is responsible for the accuracy of what they publish through it, and for holding the registration and title they claim. We may decline, correct, unpublish or remove a listing, including where a claim to a protected title cannot be supported.

Appearing in the directory is not an endorsement, certification or verification of competence by SeeSomeone.

Premium

Premium is a paid subscription for professionals at $29.99 CAD per month plus applicable taxes, billed monthly and cancellable at any time. It affects how a listing is presented and ordered: featured placement above free listings within searches the professional already matches, a richer result card, additional profile fields, and activity information.

Premium is not verification, endorsement, or a statement of quality, and it does not change whether a professional is eligible to appear in search results. Paid placement is labelled where it appears. See the FAQ.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape or bulk-copy the directory, misrepresent who you are, attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours, or use the site to harass anybody listed in it.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Roaring Coast Inc. is not liable for decisions made on the basis of information in the directory, or for the conduct of any professional listed in it.
