How SeeSomeone works
Featured placement and Premium
Some results are labelled Featured. That label means the professional has a Premium profile and is shown before other providers who match the same search. It says nothing about the quality of their care.
What Featured means
A Premium profile is placed above free profiles within the results it already matches, and is labelled Featured wherever that happens. Premium is a subscription ($29.99 CAD/month + applicable taxes); a small number of profiles hold it on a complimentary basis. The label is the same in both cases, because what you need to know is the same: the position was not earned by relevance.
What Featured does not mean
- It does not mean the professional is clinically better.
- It does not mean SeeSomeone recommends them.
- It does not mean they are more qualified.
- It does not mean they have been independently verified.
What Premium cannot change
- Who matches. A free profile and a Premium profile match exactly the same searches. Premium never adds a professional to a place, a profession or a filter they do not already fit.
- Confirmed availability. When you sort by “accepting new clients first”, professionals confirmed as accepting in the last 30 days come before Featured profiles that have not been.
- Order among Featured profiles. It rotates by the hour, so no subscriber holds the top position by paying first or paying longer.
What else Premium includes
A Premium profile can show a photo, a headline, an About section, a booking link and a short dated note about current openings, and the professional can see how often their listing was viewed. Words and photos a professional adds are read by a person before they appear. A basic listing is free and stays free, and correcting your own listing never requires buying anything.
