How SeeSomeone works
Editorial and clinical review policy
SeeSomeone is a directory. This page says what we publish, who is responsible for it, and where the limits are.
What SeeSomeone publishes
- Directory listings of mental health professionals practising in Canada.
- Lists by place and profession, generated from those listings. The numbers on those pages are counts of listings, not estimates.
- Pages about how the directory works, such as this one.
SeeSomeone does not publish medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment guidance, and nothing on the site is a substitute for a conversation with a qualified professional.
Clinical review
SeeSomeone does not currently have a clinical review process. No page on this site has been reviewed by a clinician, and we do not claim otherwise. We do not publish clinical content, which is why there is nothing for a clinician to review. If that changes, the reviewers will be named here, with their credentials, before any such content is published.
Who writes and maintains the site
SeeSomeone is owned and operated by Roaring Coast Inc., a Canadian company, which is responsible for everything published here. Roaring Coast Inc. operates the directory. It does not provide clinical care.
Standards we hold ourselves to
- We do not invent facts about a professional. If a source does not state something, the profile does not state it.
- We do not present old information as current. Availability carries its date.
- We do not describe a professional as better than another, and paid placement is always labelled. See Featured placement.
- We say what we have checked and what we have not. See what SeeSomeone verifies.
Corrections to this site
