How SeeSomeone works
Corrections and removal
Listings are built from public information, so some will be out of date or wrong. Here is how to get one fixed, and what happens when you ask.
If the listing is about you
- Claim it. Open your profile and choose “Claim this profile”. Once the claim is approved you can correct your details and keep your availability current yourself. Claiming is free.
- Or write to us. Email hello@seesomeone.ca from an address at your practice and say what is wrong. You do not need an account.
- Removal. If you do not want to be listed, tell us and we will remove the listing. You do not have to give a reason, and you never have to buy anything to correct or remove information about yourself.
If you have spotted an error
Every profile has a “Report an issue” link at the bottom. Using it tells us which listing you mean. You can report, for example:
- the wrong person, or two people merged into one listing
- a wrong location, or a practice that has moved or closed
- information that is out of date, including availability
- a professional title that looks wrong
What happens next
A person reads every report. Where the report is right, the listing is corrected or removed. Where a detail came from a public source that has since changed, we update it to match or remove it.
What we cannot act on
SeeSomeone is a directory. A concern about a professional’s conduct or their right to practise belongs with their provincial regulator, which is the body able to investigate. See what SeeSomeone verifies.
